Responsibilities will include:
Business Plans & Budgeting: Preparation of investor-ready and internal business plans, detailed revenue & expense budgets and projections; monitoring of daily operations
Accounting: Set-up of appropriate accounting system, training, implementation of day-to-day entry.
Banking: Banking relationship development and maintenance, including delivery and discussion of company financial statements
Tax: Thorough review and preparation of federal income tax returns
Business Insurance: Identification and sourcing of liability and health & welfare insurance products
Human Resources: Assessment and implementation of Human Resource needs (handbooks, government requirements) and benefit plans, including retirement & 401K plans
Payroll: Payroll system set-up and implementation
Corporate: Oversee formation of corporations, divisions, partnerships, companies
Legal: Identification of legal needs; sourcing of appropriate professionals, performance of legal “audits”
Who we're looking for:
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will come from a retail, B2B software, wholesale or consumer products environment, combined with previous audit experience. You must be a team player with desire and personality to work in a young, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment. International exposure, MBA/CPA credentials desired. This high profile position will report directly to the CEO.
